Fearing defeat from Rawalpindi NA-56, Imran drifts to Islamabad NA-53.

Chairman PTI Imran khan admitting his failure to deliver and serve the people of Rawalpindi has opted not to contest election from NA-56 rather has filed nomination paper from NA-53 Islamabad.

In 2013 Imran Khan after an impressive show of forces defeated Hanif Abbasi from Pmln’s historic stronghold. Even though he had won from three national assembly seats, decided to retain NA-56 Rawalpindi. However, after getting elected failed to visit his constituency even once. A PTI political work while talking to newswatchPakistan.com regretted that Imran Khan broke all the promises he made to the people of NA-56 and it’s almost impossible to expect good results from the constituency in the coming general elections. He further added that the failure to deliver to People of NA 56 might also haunt Imran Khan in filing his nomination papers for general election 2018. His nomination papers have already been rejected on technical grounds.

According to the RO of NA-53, PTI chairman has failed to fill the column dedicated to listing down the developmental work and services done by him in NA-56 during his tenure as MNA.

It is to be seen what he manages to present in order to fill the requirement, and what RO’s decide in case he practically fails to present anything with regards to his eligibility to contest elections from NA-53 Islamabad.
